Hay Sox products are horse feeder bags designed to contain a full bale of hay, both round & square and come as a standard or slow feeder. They are constructed of shade cloth allowing the hay to breathe, with a poly base to stop moisture being absorbed from the ground. The standard Hay Sox has holes in the sides for the horses to feed, where the slow feeder has a soft polyester mesh top.

The Hay Sox is a great Australian invention developed in 2013 for horse lovers in all areas of the industry.

Most of our products are made to order as the sizes vary from state to state.

The Hay Sox was designed in response to a need for a safe, practical, economical way to contain hay for horses.

The invention received the Best Invention Award at the Malanda show in 2014.

The health and safety of the horse was the first issue in the production of the Hay Sox. Keeping the hay fresh, dry and clean is important in reducing the occurrence of colic.  Considering the physical safety of the horse, the Hay Sox is made from soft pliable materials, with no sharp metal parts for them to injure themselves.

The Hay Sox is built to last. It will roll or fold up for easy storage and is fully washable.

The Hay Sox owners save money on hay as the hay doesn’t get wasted. Round & square bale are easily transported to events and the remainder of the bale can be brought home, dry and clean.

The poly base keeps the ground moisture out and allows you to hose out the stable while the hay stays dry.

While it has a waterproof base, it is not designed to sit out in the rain. It should be located under a shelter.
